Sayan Pal
I'm Sayan. I'm 19, and I study computer science at KIIT in Bhubaneswar.
I led an oral cancer detection study through to publication. I built the machine learning side and presented it at DMIHER 2025; it's on IEEE Xplore.
Most of what I do sits close to infrastructure: cloud, Linux, things that run on servers. I'm on the cloud team at GDG KIIT. I've been taking Linux systems apart since grade 7, and I still learn mostly by breaking things and then fixing them.

I build and ship cloud projects with the group, and served as an evaluator at Deploy or Die 2026, judging teams on Specification & Architecture against a formal rubric. Zap was built there: fully serverless on Cloudflare Workers with R2, running at the edge with no origin server, with direct browser-to-browser transfer over a WebRTC DataChannel.

The rest of it lives on the work page: the research, the cloud work, the infrastructure, the open source.

If you're hiring for something close to cloud infrastructure or applied machine learning, or you have web work that needs building, I'd like to hear about it.
