I'm 19. I've moved a lot. Four schools in four cities, each in a different part of the country: Pune, Kolkata, Chandigarh and Ranchi. I've travelled widely since I was born. I'm now in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, reading computer science.

I've been taking Linux apart since grade 7, learning by experiment. I like breaking things and then fixing them, and that is genuinely how most of it was learned.

  • Chess

    I play, though not seriously and not especially well. I like the game a good deal more than I like winning it.

  • Listening to shortwave

    I listen to Morse and to passing sailors' traffic on live WebSDR receivers, mostly through websdr.org on Linux, sometimes through other tools. Most of it is routine. I like that it carries on whether or not anyone is listening.
